TWO PIECES SOLD TOGETHER This auction is for the two Ancient Swamp Kauri timber pieces shown in the supplied photographs, sold as one lot. All nine photographs show the actual unfinished material. Other timber, tools and display surroundings are not included. MATERIAL AND CREATIVE USES A pair of compact Ancient Swamp Kauri pieces with warm brown tones, visible grain, longitudinal cracks, natural grooves and contrasting textured and sanded faces. Suitable for rustic tabletop sculptures, wooden bookends, wall art, carving or other small creative projects, subject to further preparation. Natural surfaces can be retained as a feature rather than sanded completely smooth. DETAILS Quantity: 2 pieces. Combined unpackaged weight: approximately 1.56 kg (scale photograph reads 1,563 g). The height shown in the measurement photograph is approximately 29 cm. The pieces have variable sections and uneven ends; refer to the measurement photographs and request any further dimensions before bidding. Finish: unfinished timber with sanded areas and natural textured surfaces. Resin and oil finishing are not included in the auction price. CONDITION Visible cracks and checks run along the pieces. Rough end grain, cavities, worn areas and uneven edges are present, as photographed. These are decorative project pieces, not structural timber. Further sanding, stabilising, filling, base levelling or finishing may be required for the intended use. Any wall-mounted arrangement needs appropriate secure fixings.
