Privacy & website statistics

First-party analytics

Kumeu Kilns Ltd uses private website statistics to understand material interest, traffic sources and buying activity. This analytics feature uses a randomly generated browser identifier stored on your device for up to 90 days and a session identifier which changes after 30 minutes of inactivity. We store hashed versions of these identifiers, page paths, event times, approximate country, broad device/browser categories and referring website or campaign labels. We do not store your IP address, name, email, phone number, search text, form contents or full referring URL in analytics.

Detailed analytics events are retained for 90 days and are visible only to the seller. Auction pages display an aggregate page-view count, including repeat visits. These aggregate totals contain no visitor identifiers and are retained beyond 90 days. Counts include available historical events; visits deleted before this counter was introduced cannot be recovered. Known robot page requests are kept separately from estimated visitor totals. Browser storage, content blockers and device changes affect these estimates. No third-party advertising analytics provider is used for this feature.

Accounts and transactions

Membership, account, enquiry and order details are separate operational records used to review membership, respond to enquiries, process purchases, issue invoices and arrange collection or freight. Those records are not included as personal details in this traffic dashboard.
