AK250070 – Ancient Swamp Kauri Stump Slab 200 × 100/80 × 8 cm Milling Statement: #7-01-02416 AncientKauri.org Registration: AK250070 A certified Ancient Swamp Kauri slab of exceptional scale and character — ideal for a high-end dining table, river table, or a statement centrepiece. This slab was recovered from a buried kauri stump in Northland under MPI-approved milling. Logs from the same excavation site have been carbon-dated at approximately 45,000–50,000 years old, placing this timber among the oldest workable wood on earth. The slab has been air-dried for over 10 years, subsequently kiln-dried, and recently given a basic sand to enhance its natural golden grain while ensuring structural stability. Specifications * Length: 200 cm * Width: 80–100 cm (natural live edge) * Thickness: 8 cm * Approx. Weight: ~100 kg * Condition: Solid, stable, with rich golden tones and prehistoric character
